The Journal of Urban Design Discourse, published by University of Tarbiat Modares, operates under the supervision of the Urban Design Department within the Department of Geography and with the cooperation of the Iranian Landscape Scientific Association. The journal emphasizes expanding concepts and theories relevant to the field of urban design and elucidating the dominant discourses in this area. Indeed, the journal aims to be the sole specialized journal for disseminating the knowledge produced in the field of urban design in the country, reducing researchers’ need to refer to other journals with related domains. It is hoped that publishing in this journal will address the existing gap in this field.

Persian articles submitted to the Journal of Urban Design Discourse must, at the initial screening stage and before manuscript submission, be screened for similarity using the Simint Noor similarity-detection system; please upload the similarity-detection file along with the other documents.
