Includes registering the article's preliminary information (title, abstract, etc., and author details), uploading the article according to the journal's format (in Word and PDF formats), and submitting the authors' undertaking form and conflict of interest form.
The article undergoes a qualitative and topical review by the journal's editor-in-chief. If initial revisions are required, it will be returned to the author. If the article does not meet the required conditions, it will be rejected and the author will be notified.
The article is checked for similarity. If any signs of plagiarism are found, the article will be rejected.
If the article is approved for peer review, the author will pay the review fee (in journals that charge a fee).
Reviewers are assigned and the article is forwarded to at least two expert reviewers.
The article is reviewed, and the reviewers provide their comments along with a completed evaluation form, informing the editor-in-chief about the quality and quantity of the article.
After the review process is completed, the reviewers' comments are examined by the editor-in-chief and discussed at the editorial board meeting.
At this stage, four scenarios are possible:
After the third reviewer's evaluation is completed, if revisions are requested by the reviewer, the article is returned to the author for corrections.
After the author makes the corrections, the article is sent to the reviewer for final evaluation. At this stage, two scenarios are possible:
a) Acceptance of the article in the supplementary review.
b) Non-acceptance of the article in the supplementary review.
After this stage, the article is discussed at the editorial board meeting, and a final decision regarding its rejection or acceptance will be made. The author will be notified of the decision.
The accepted article will be placed on the list of articles ready for publication.
