Abstract
Today, in new concepts such as the environmental psychology environment, human behavior is examined in relation to the habitat or the physical environment surrounding it, so that the necessity of paying attention to this category in design will make it possible to achieve a favorable urban environment. One of the important subclauses in the psychology of the environment is the role of color in it, which is one of the important factors in maintaining the body's health and mental balance and promoting the quality of human life. The effect of color on the health is very important in every society's social life. These effects may enhance your health and may cause depression, frivolity and mental illness. Urban designers can, with this knowledge, facilitate access to inner peace. The purpose of this study is to achieve a relationship between the psychology of colors and their environmental perceptions in urban areas. The research method is descriptive-analytical and studies in theoretical part are based on library documents and in the framework of the project are based on field studies through questionnaires. The results of the research indicate that citizens are demanding changes in the structure of urban forms and colors based on religious and Islamic values such as Islamic 7 colors, Quranic verses and hadiths, and cultural and religious reminders such as sacrifice, sacrifice, religiosity, etc in urban environments to raise the level to raise the intellectual level of public opinion in accordance with Iranian culture.
